Death of Katherine Seay Aldridge

Obituary Guest Book "Our condolences to the family  at this time of sorrow." - Robbie and Lee View Sign Katherine Seay Aldridge SHREVEPORT, LA - Mrs. Katherine Seay Aldridge, 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, at Osborn Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Dr. Chad Hardbarger of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Aldridge was a native of Columbus, MS and a resident of Shreveport, LA for 64 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist. Katherine was always active in her church and served as Church Secretary for over 20 years.  Mrs. Aldridge was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Frances Randall; husband, Fred Seay, veteran of WWII, and Doy Aldridge, retired KCS engineer; several brothers; sisters; and grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Watson (Allen), of Columbus, GA, and Janie Godwin (Gene), of Bethany, LA; two sons, Junior Seay, of DeBerry, TX and Stephen Seay, of Blanchard, LA; sister, Ima Jean Spaulding, of Trussville, TN; and one forever granddaughter. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Seborn Woods and the nurses and staff of Garden Park Nursing Home.
