Willis Clark Lindsay

Graveside services for Willis Clark Lindsay, 71, of Jonesville, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, with Buddy Killion officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Lindsay passed away June 18, 2015, in Shreveport, Louisiana. 

Willis Clark Lindsay was born August 5, 1943, in Shreveport, LA, to Walter Lane Lindsay and Audell Philan Lindsay. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lindsay was an engineer with Bell South Telephone, and a farmer. He was a member of Robert A. Tompkins Lodge #1254 AF&AM. 

Surviving Mr. Lindsay are his wife, Joan Lindsay, of Jonesville; his mother, Audell Lindsay, of Jonesville; son, Jeffrey Lindsay, of Waskom; brother, Lane Lindsay, of London, England; grandson, Zeke Wallace, of Jonesville; and other relatives and friends. 

Preceding Mr. Lindsay in death were his father, Walter Lindsay, and daughter, Leslie Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to El Karubah Shriners Hospital, 6230 S Lakeshore Dr, Shreveport, LA 71119.
