Juanita Ozelle West D’Water

Graveside services for JUANITA OZELLE D'WATER, age 61, will be Monday, May 24, 2004, at Summer Grove Cemetery in Shreveport, at the corner of Bert Kouns and Mansfield Road. Ms. D'Water slipped away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 18, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Mr. Ronald F. D'Water and her mother, Zelle Guice.

Mrs. D'Water was a homemaker who cared deeply for others and had a passion for plants and animals. She enjoyed riding her horse "Charo", raised Chinese Pugs, and spent most of her spare time tending to her Begonias and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Kindt and husband Scott; father Raymond West and wife Edith; brother, Ray West and wife Sherry; sister, Karen Guice; stepfather, Horace Guice; stepchildren: Reno and Larissa D'Water, Dorothy D'Water and Renette Roan and four grandchildren: April, Sarah, Lauren and Alex.

Juanita was loved by all and will truly be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, May 22 from 6-9 pm at Mortuary Services of Louisiana, 5539 Greenwood Road in Shreveport.
