Funeral services for TRUMAN L. SMITH, 59, will be held at 10 am Thursday, October 10, 2002 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Bob Moore pastor of Community Bible Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was born October 9, 1942 in Houston, TX. and passed away Monday, October 7, 2002 in Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Wanda Smith of Shreveport, LA.; daughter, Melanie Smith of Ashdown, AR.; step sons, Ronald Hendrickson and wife, Rebecca and Rodney Hendrickson and wife, Neta, all of Shreveport, LA. and five grandchildren, Jessica and Jenna Hendrickson, Ty and Angela Moreno and Ronni Hendrickson.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hux, Gene Gorman, Eddie Lazarus, Alan Hampton, Mark McGill and Bob Goode. Honorary pallbearers will be Tollie Bordeaux, David Holland, Billy McGill and Clayton Mayes.
