Frank Bright has provided the following info for posting:
You should soon receive a mailout about a 50th class reunion. With help, I took the lead on this mailout since it may not be too early to begin gathering input from the class so that we can set a date a year or so in advance, book a place (I thought that the Holidome was ok in the past), get a deal on hotel rooms, and begin getting everyone “on the bandwagon”. If “everyone is coming”, maybe “everyone” will come. I talked Camilla Fulco (who holds the purse strings) into spending the money for postage, so send us the response form as soon as you can and we will see what needs to be done and who will do it. Camilla is a very organized person and is always willing to help. Bill Scott, of course, is “communication central”. On the local front, Garland Weidner is monitoring the mail box, Carrol Hanson and Jerry Cook have volunteered to help, and C.K. Canfield is willing to help. I talked to all of the people who “signed” the letter (except for Alan Stone, but Charlie McBride gave me permission to use Alan’s name). My personal “projects” are to get Ronnie Suggs and Jay Blazin to a reunion, and to find Jimmy Hess. He must be in the Houston/Austin area. I hope that this finds you and your families healthy and doing well, although I know that is not going to be true in all cases. I am excited about the prospect of seeing so many of my classmates in 2011. All the best, Frank Bright.
