Classmate Patricia Lang Backest passed away in Leander, TX on Thursday, June 18, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home - Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA, on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service celebrating Pat's life will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 10:00am at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park.
