Bill reports yet another fun weekend on his trusty ole Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Seems as if he and 35 Harley riders rode down I-95 to the Daytona Speedway for the "Biketoberfest". They stayed most of the day at the Speedway looking through all the tents of new bikes and all the parts they could buy to add on to their bikes.
On Oct. 24-26 Bill will attend the Florida State HOG Rally in Cocoa Beach, Florida. It's about a 150 mile ride for Bill and he will be staying at the Holiday Inn on the Atlantic Ocean. He will go on a tour of Cape Canaveral Space Center since he has never been there before and is really looking forward to that.
On Nov. 27th Florida has a Rod Run at the Daytona Speedway called the Turkey Rod. A few guys from Shreveport, Johnny Petty, Jarvis Bounds and James Churchman will bring their cars down for the 3 day show. That should be a fun time for all of them and that will be the last ride for the year for Bill.
Goodness Bill, what will you do for fun then? Just work on the ole Harley and get it ready for the rides of 2009 I bet. Thanks for reporting all the fun rides this year.
