On May 7, 2015 at 11:00 pm, our sweet Mother Carolyn Marie Eichner, 72 went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on March 16, 1943 in Hope, AR to Vernon and Margaret (Stone) Holliday. She graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, LA. She married Robin Eichner on July 25, 1972, in Los Angeles, CA. She was a loving, caring, giving and committed wife and mother to her husband Robin, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. While she loved planting flowers in her backyard, her family was her real pride and joy. Carolyn extended her compassion and love beyond even her family. If she ever met you, she never forgot you, and would always inquire to how you were doing. Carolyn volunteered weekly for 20 years playing the piano at local nursing homes. Her spirit of compassion & dedication to family blessed many people in her community. She will be missed tremendously. She is survived by her husband, Robin Eichner of Cottage Grove; father, Vernon Holliday of Creswell; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Randy Lane of Kennewick, WA; son and daughter –in-law, Steve and Louise Eichner of Broomfield, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Bill Wright of Cottage Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Christel and Matthew Brown of Parker, CO. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church in Creswell.
