SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
The Dallas Cowboys have traded with St. Louis to take Fair Park and LSU's Morris Claiborne 6th in the 1st round of the NFL Draft.
St. Louis will receive the Cowboys first round pick (14) and second round pick (45) as part of the deal.
Cowboys Owner/President/General Manager Jerry Jones stated on Wednesday that there were players he was willing to trade up or down in the draft to take.
"There is a situation where you can move up one or two places with a team. There is a real value that they'll give you if you swap a couple of spots and that's hard to do up there."
The Cowboys now have seven draft picks remaining. The next spot to draft will be the 18th pick in the third round.
