Operator: I think it means the telephone plug on the wall.

Caddo Parish School Board Plan 2009
The Caddo Parish School Board has apparently been authorized to make significant changes in the way 8 of the 10 low performing schools in Caddo Parish will operate. It looks like Fair Park will become a college preparatory campus. Its not clear at this time (at least to me) how this will work or where the student population will be drawn from. However, the School Board has released a slide show that provides some details. If you wish to watch the slide show click on the title to this article. The slide show is a large file that could take several minutes to download if you use a dial up connection.
Note added on 1-17-2009 - Bill:
If you've tried to view the School Board slide show and couldn't it may be that you don't have the software needed to view slide shows. Mickey Phillips had that happen and once he downloaded some free slide show software available from Microsoft everything worked perfectly.
If you use a computer that operates on any software system other than the Windows operating system do not attempt the following instructions.
To access the free Microsoft slide viewing software click here. Before doing the actual download read the instructions provided by Microsoft at their web site to be sure your version of Windows will run the slide show software. If it will, do the download and follow any instructions provided on screen on how to install the software once its downloaded. Don't attempt this process if you don't feel comfortable trying it, or don't know someone locally who can help or can answer specific questions you may have.
If you are able to install this free software on your computer you can view just about any of the slide shows that come your way. And some of those can be very nice. However, while the download and installation of the software is not a difficult task, don't risk trying it alone, or without ready access to help if you've never done this type thing before.
Mr. A. L. Williams
Garland Ware Moellenkamp has provided the following information:
I have some news about A. L. Williams. Do you remember him? He taught me civics my Jr. year and later went on to be a coach. His name was mentioned at prayer meeting last night. He has prostate cancer. Don't know yet how bad it is. If I find out anymore details I will let you know.
Many of you probably remember that Mr. Williams and his wife Sarah were at our 45th reunion. Please keep this fine man and his family in your prayers.
