Update on Clara Anderson

I received this note from Lester Anderson updating his wife Clara’s condition. He said I could post it to the blog so others could know.

Just a quick note to bring you up to the present on Clara's progress after her stroke. She seems to be holding her own and is trying to adjust to her new life. By that I mean that she feels different than she used to - seems to be in a bit of a cloud all the time (her words). Her right side is still tingly and she is still having difficulty putting together the words she wants in a sentence.

We went to an Optometrist last week to get her eyes examined for new glasses because her vision has changed also. We learned that she has lost the vision on the right side of BOTH eyes and not just the right eye as we had thought. Her doctors think she will not regain any of the things she has lost and we will have to adjust our lives accordingly. She and I both know that if its God's will, He can restore her to good health and if not, he will give us the strength to get thru this. There is still no sagging of the muscles in her face and we are very grateful for that.

The fact that this really is a minor stroke causing very light damage is certainly an answer to lots of prayer from both family and friends like you. I cannot express our gratitude strongly enough for your continued prayers and concern. Thank you all so very much.

Oh, by the way, Clara has returned to work at the ranch office and her boss has assured both of us that her job is safe and sound. There is no chance of her losing her job because of this and that's very good news.
