Funeral services for EDWARD "BUBBA" HENDERSON, 63 of Benton, LA will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Chad Grayson and Rev. Randy Johnson. Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the funeral home.

Mr. Henderson was born on April 30, 1943 in Shreveport and passed away on March 10, 2007 at home surrounded by family and friends. He has been a lifelong resident of this area and has lived in Benton for more than 25 years. Mr. Henderson proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He was a member of the U.A.W. and was past president of the Credit Union. He worked for G. & B. Battery/Exide for over 30 years. Mr. Henderson was a devoted LSU Tiger fan and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John & Adella Henderson and his step-mother Lucy Henderson.

Survivors include his sons: Joel Henderson and wife Laura, Danny and Mike Henderson; daughters: Denise Giddens and fiancé Matt, Lori Lindsey and husband Clifton and Cherie Henderson; sisters: Barbara Hill and husband Kirby and Bobbie Hendrix and husband Keith; brothers: Don Henderson and wife Lottie and John Paddie and wife Alicia, also survived by 16 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Henderson, Kevin Giddens, Jr., Alan-Michael Henderson, Christopher Henderson, Nathan Freeman, Justin Bunn, Lantz Hill and Nick Freeman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirby Hill, James Collins, Gregg Neal and Bernie Harrington
