Hello class of 61,
Christmas Greetings and best wishes to all of you for a wonderful blessed holiday season and a wonderful new year. Johnny and Brenda McClure Johnson are still alive and well living in Shreveport after all these years. Yes, we probably would have won the longest married couple award had we attended the reunion, since we will soon celebrate our 48th anniversary.
We were blessed with 2 great kids, Marilyn, who was born while I finished Fair Park, now lives with her 2 boys and husband in Sugarland, Tx, and Mark and wife and 3 kids live and work here in Shreveport. Our two oldest grandsons are 22 and 21, I can't believe it, but true. Then they go from 19, 16 and 11. No babies anymore.
Johnny is still working, but I retired from the Caddo School Board in 2002, and now get to enjoy myself with my free lance decorating, something I have loved to do for many years and can now really have time to devote to it.
Well, I said we had no babies, Johnny and I have 2 English Bulldogs that are the love of our lives, they require as much attention as babies, but provide much love and devotion to the two of us.
