Linda Terry Patrick's Comments on the Reunion

Bill . . .

I would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you" to all involved in the recent class reunion of Fair Park High School Class of 1961. It was a terrific turnout and thanks first to Camilla Fulco Doughty and Brian, for being the ram rods of such an occasion. With out them stepping up to the plate there would not have been such a great weekend.

Next, I would like to thank 'you' for the many hours that I know personally that you have been on the computer to start the web site and do all the everyday postings. For anyone to have taken the time to do what you have done for this class on the web is remarkable. I never realized how time consuming all the work could be. So from all of us in the class “thank you" for your time and trouble. We owe you big time sir!!

Thanks also go out to Camilla’s committee for all their help in working with her on line to have everything needed to have a good reunion. Jerry Cook and Carrol thanks for the time and congratulations to two fine folks for finding each other during this Fun time. May God bless you both in the future. To Betty and R. D. Barber thanks for all of your research on the missing and deceased classmates. That is such an undertaking that only those that have done the research can really appreciate the work, and the poster was fantastic. And good for you both for finding Ronnie Middleton again. That was great!! To Mary and Don Corcelli thank you for the name tags and all you did from Florida. That was wonderful. Thanks Mary to your brother Robert for always coming also.

To the rest of the committee that did all the tidbits. You know who you are and a great big thanks to you for taking the time to do all of this for your fellow classmates.

Thanks to A. L. & Mrs. Williams, Clem Henderson and Mrs. Henderson, and Mr. Nutt for being the great teachers they were and still thinking enough of us to come celebrate a big # 45 with us. They all looked young enough to be students like we were and of course we were all such a pleasure to teach and I know I never gave them any trouble...ha! God bless them all.

To each and every classmate thank you for taking the time to come out in full force and show all the love and support to Camilla and the committee that you did. It's because we loved each other then that we all stuck together to make this a great class from Fair Park and may we all stay healthy enough to be together again for # 50 in the year 2011. May the Lord Bless us all and thanks again for a great reunion with good friends from the Class of 1961.
