Hello everyone,
Due to being in a wheelchair I was unable to go on the school tour.
Thanks to all who took pictures of the school tour and let Bill Scott put them on line for all of us to see.
The reunion was a good reunion. I got to talk to people that I had not seen since 1961.
I also found out that Bonnie Cole has been sitting in front of me at church for years and we did not know it and now we see each other every Sunday.
I went 1-12 with Linda Terry, Bobby Patrick and Frank Bright and it was good to see them at the reunion.
I once worked with Ronnie Middleton. It was good to know that he is still alive and doing well. Ronnie was listed as being killed in Vietnam in 1965 and I could find nothing on him in the Shreveport Times files. When we were at Midway Ronnie came to the class rooms dressed as an Indian, and did an Indian dance with live snakes.
I got to talk to Joe Festervan. He is the same quiet person as he always was with not very much to say.
I will soon have my other knee replaced. I hope after that I will be able to walk on my own. These last two years have been full of pain for me and that is no fun.
Our next reunion will be our 50th and if God does not call me home I will be at that one.
